A Bit of Green

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hope you have a lovely green day today, and just in case you don't already know ... those little green "shamrocks" that grow wild are edible.  Click here to read about Wood Sorrel (scroll way down to the bottom) and all sorts of other wonderful wild edible herbs!  Please don't eat too many and get a tummy ache ... but a few tossed into your tea would be lovely and quite alright, I do believe.  (Of course, I'm not a doctor or the FDA, so what do I know... research it for yourself and use your own judgement).

If you have children, they probably already know that the "clover" tastes slightly sour and has little "pickles" on it. :)

An Olde Irish Wish for you:

May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow

May the soft winds freshen your spirit

May the sunshine brighten your heart

May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you

And may God enfold you in the mantle of His love.

Enjoy a bit of green today!
